The actress, mother of two adopted daughters, is carrying a boy, due in January
Katherine Heigl has announced she is pregnant with a baby boy due in January.
The child will be the third for the 37-year-old actress and her 36-year-old husband, musician Josh Kelley. The couple has two adopted daughters, 7-year-old Naleigh Moon and 4-year-old Adelaide Marie Hope.
Heigl announced the birth on Instagram and her lifestyle website, thoseheavenlydays.com.
She said she and Kelley are “full of high hopes and bubbling anticipation.” Heigl said she and Kelley were considering adoption again, fostering or pregnancy, if it was possible.
Kelley said on Instagram he “can’t wait to hold this little nugget.”
Heigl shot to stardom on the ABC hit Grey’s Anatomy and in movies such as Knocked Up and 27 Dresses.
