Officials say a football injury kept the singer from completing the terms of his sentence

Probation officials say a football injury kept Justin Bieber from completing the terms of his sentence in a misdemeanour vandalism case.
A probation report filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court states that Bieber cited a severe ankle sprain in early January as the reason he hasn’t completed five days of community labour.
Probation officials did not recommend that a judge find Bieber in violation of his probation after he egged his neighbour’s house in January 2014.
Bieber’s attorney Shawn Holley told a judge on Tuesday she expects the singer will complete his sentence by a May court date.
He was ordered to complete five days of community service, attend 12 anger management sessions, and reimburse his former neighbour $80,900 (Dh297,145) for damage caused by the eggs.
