Jackie Chan’s Kung Fu Yoga to be shot in Dubai
The film, originally to be shot in India, also stars Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif
Dubai will be the location this September for Jackie Chan’s latest action-adventure film Kung Fu Yoga. The film, a part of three-movie deal between Indian and Chinese governments, was originally planned to be shot entirely in India.
Director Stanley Tong’s film also stars Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif in the role of an Indian professor at a Chinese university.
Chan is seen as an archaeologist who seeks her help to find treasure from the Magadha era and they both travel back in time to find it. Actor Aamir Khan was also to be part of Kung Fu Yoga but has opted for Disney production Dangal instead.
UAE is currently a popular location for Hollywood and Bollywood productions.
While Brad Pitt’s War Machine starts shoot next month, the cast and crew of Varun Dhawan starrer Bollywood action film Dishoom will be here later in the year.
