Ed Sheeran loves it. So do the One Direction boys. And the last time Beyonce went there, she spent a fortune, almost Dh10,000, to treat herself and her crew to some Nando’s chicken.

Rapper Ja Rule, we can now reveal, is also a fan. A day after his performance at a Dubai nightclub on Friday, the Always On Time hitmaker hit the Shaikh Zayed Road branch of the South African chain known for its flame-grilled peri peri chicken.

“We didn’t arrange for him to come. I guess he just really loves Nando’s chicken. He had the option of any of the incredible restaurants that Dubai has to offer and, at the end of the day, decided that a little trip to the Nando’s restaurant on Shaikh Zayed Road would satisfy his craving,” a Nando’s representative told tabloid!.

The chain last month launched a special chicken wrap with Dubai-based hip-hop artist Two Tone called the Two Tone Nando’s Wrap. It’s a combination of “grilled chicken breast with a sprinkling of creamy goat’s cheese, onions, grilled corn, snow peas and fresh lettuce,” according to the brand. Hungry yet?
