Felicity Jones to star in film on ‘Swan Lake’

Actress Felicity Jones has been roped in for Luca Guadagnino’s yet untitled film, which is inspired by the classic ballet Swan Lake, which was composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875-76. Kristina Lauren Anderson has been roped in to pen the script. Swan Lake is based on Odette, a princess who is turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse. The new take will not involve any ballet but will instead use the story as the centrepiece for a major studio tentpole.
