Actress Emily Blunt says she will be less inclined to strip down for the camera now that she’s a mum.
The actress, who is married to actor John Krasinski, is currently pregnant with her second child.
Blunt’s forthcoming role as Rachel in the thriller The Girl on the Train may not be child-friendly, but when asked if motherhood is making her turn down roles that she would once have accepted, the actress said: “I think so”.
“Too racy would be one thing I wouldn’t go for now. I am not so keen on doing nudity, because I am not 22 any more. And actually it is not so much a moral thing as I have done it before and do I really want to do it again?’ Blunt said.
The 33-year-old added: “Does it serve the film or is it gratuitous and seeing someone’s [privates] for the sake of it? Because I don’t think it is necessary most of the time. Also playing violent or racist characters would be hard for me now.”
