Ed Sheeran injured in bicycle accident; Dubai gig may be affected
Singer says he may have to change some concert dates
British singer Ed Sheeran has told fans via Instagram that he’s had a bicycle injury and may have to change some concert dates as he awaits “medical advice”.
Sheeran is scheduled to perform in Dubai on November 23 at the Autism Rocks Arena, while his Asia tour kicks off on October 22.
In a statement to Gulf News tabloid! Thomas Ovesen, CEO of concert organisers, 117Live, said: “Ed Sheeran is about to start his Asian tour in Taipei and it ends at the Dubai Autism Rocks Arena. Once we have more updates on any potential implication for the Dubai show we will of course share with fans and readers — for now we wish Ed a speedy recovery.
Sheeran has requested fans to “stay tuned” for further news.
The Instagram post showed a photograph of his tattooed arm in a cast.
