Bob Seger is back — and so is his back.

On Monday, the old-time rock ‘n’ roller announced rescheduled dates for his Runaway Train tour, postponed in October due to an urgent medical issue with the singer’s vertebrae.

In a January interview with Rolling Stone, Seger, who turned 73 earlier this month, reflected on the loss of rock contemporaries, including Glenn Frey, and the ageing process in general.

“You sure think about your own mortality. It’s important to do what you want to do and follow your own personal vision. It just reinforced that. I worked harder this tour than I ever have. I did songs I’d never done because they were too high. This tour, I didn’t care,” he reflected.

Seger and the Silver Bullet Band announced 13 rescheduled tour dates, including a show on February 23, 2019, at the Forum.

Tickets for the originally scheduled shows (the band was to play in early November) will be honoured on the new dates, Seger’s website confirmed. Tickets for the rescheduled dates are on sale at and
