Govinda and Sunita Ahuja headed for divorce After 37 Years? Actor's publicist denies split claims

Dubai: Bollywood actor Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, are at the center of separation rumors after 37 years of marriage.

Several reports emerging from India suggest the couple, who have reportedly been living apart, may be preparing to make their split official. However, Govinda’s secretary has denied the claims, calling them baseless.

Govinda and Sunita, known for keeping their personal lives private, have faced intermittent speculation about tension in their marriage. Recent reports claim the couple has been living separately, with Govinda residing in his bungalow while Sunita and their children live in a nearby flat.

Amid mounting speculation, Govinda’s secretary, Shashi Sinha, dismissed the reports in a statement to ABP News.

“There is no truth to these rumors. I am always with Govinda Ji, and nothing like this is happening. Sunita Ji may have spoken in an interview, and her words were likely exaggerated, leading to these reports,” he said.

Govinda and Sunita are yet to comment. However, they did not have a conventional marriage.

Earlier this year, Sunita Ahuja revealed that she does not live with Govinda, confirming that she and their children reside in a separate flat. The revelation intensified speculation about a possible rift. However, Sunita later downplayed the rumors, asserting that external influences would not affect their relationship.

Married since 1987, Govinda and Sunita have been regarded as one of Bollywood’s most enduring couples. Over the years, Govinda has credited Sunita for being his unwavering support through career highs and lows.
