With just a few months remaining until BTS’s return from their mandatory military service, RM has been reflecting on his time away and the countdown toward his discharge.

Recently, RM penned an emotional and profound letter on Weverse. In his message, the leader reflected on his daily life at the Hwacheon quarters, expressing satisfaction as his discharge approaches. He introduced his current nightly reading, Erich Fromm's ‘The Art of Loving,’ contemplating why society expects effortless love without practice, unlike other skills that require training. He wrote: "We practice and train dozens, even hundreds of times to draw well, to play the guitar well, to study well. But when it comes to love—the most important thing in life—why do we expect to just do it, without any practice or training?"

RM also shared his anticipation for returning to music, stating: "I have about three months left. 18 percent as a percentage. There are a lot of things to tell you in both music and language."

Concluding his letter, he expressed his enduring affection for fans and promised to ‘both them soon’. "I love you today, too, it's decision, it's a promise."

In response to RM’s emotional message, V initially posted a short, motivational message saying, “Let’s go.” However, after reading RM’s letter, V decided to write a more personal post. He shared updates about his health, mentioning his weight, how he had forgotten the choreography to 'Black Swan', a rib injury, and how he no longer suffers from insomnia. RM humorously responded, "I envy you."
