Global K‑pop icons nearing their full-group reunion — excitement among ARMY is palpable
The countdown is officially on.
As more BTS members wrap up their military duties, the long-awaited reunion of K-pop’s biggest supergroup is just around the corner.
On June 10, fan-favorites RM and V marched out of military service — uniforms, salutes, and all.
All told, six out of seven BTS members are now discharged from South Korea’s mandatory military service.
Waiting fans outside the Chuncheon base cheered as the duo greeted the crowd with heartfelt promises of a return to the stage.
“To all the ARMYs who have waited for us, I’m truly, truly grateful. Please hang on just a little longer—we’re coming back with an epic performance,” V told fans, flashing his signature charm.
With their military salutes still echoing in fans’ hearts, the question on everyone’s lips: How soon until BTS is back in action as a full group?
The puzzle pieces are falling into place:
Jin and J-Hope? Already out and thriving — Jin just dropped new music and J-Hope is busy dazzling crowds on his solo tour.
Jimin, Jung Kook were dischanged June 11.
Translation: Six of BTS's seven members have completed their mandatory military service.
Suga is next in line, reportedly set for discharge by June 21.
By the end of this month, all seven members could be free and ready to light up stages once again.
And the timing couldn’t be sweeter.
BTS turns 12 this week, and their label HYBE is marking the milestone with a fan celebration dubbed BTS FESTA.
Will all the members show up?
That’s still under wraps, but Jin did appear at last year’s event, so fingers crossed for a surprise group moment.
Let’s not forget — it’s been nearly three years since BTS last released a full group project (2022), and the boys have spent that time exploring solo careers, releasing hits, and, well, serving the nation.
Now, as they inch closer to a full-group comeback, the energy is electric.
Or, as J-Hope put it in a December interview:
“After pursuing our own little ventures, we’re now coming back together—and I love that for us.”
BTS is coming — and the comeback era might just be their biggest yet.
So ARMY, start stretching those vocal cords.
