Priyanka stuns as ‘madam-sir’ Abha Mathur in ‘Jai Gangaajal’

Priyanka Chopra shows off her acting chops as Superintendent of Police (SP) Abha Mathur in the first trailer of Prakash Jha’s Jai Gangaajal: The End Game.

The 33-year-old Bollywood actress plays the role of the first woman SP of Bankepur district, a place dominated by a corrupt politician played by Manav Kaul.

Chopra shared the first trailer of the film on Twitter. “Here it is. The quickest film I’ve ever shot! Introducing #AbhaMathur in a role & film I am so very proud of ,” she tweeted.

The two minutes 48 second long clip also features director Jha in the role of dishonest police officer BN Singh.

Jha, 63, who is making his full fledged acting debut with the film, shares some powerful scenes with his lead actress, whom he calls “madam-sir” in the movie.

The trailer begins with Chopra taking charge as the SP.

Produced by Prakash Jha Productions and Play Entertainment, Jai Gangaajal will release on March 4 in India.
