On Saturday, Bollywood star Sunny Leone's eyes were glued to her script trying to memorise the lines at a filming location.
It was an open-air set outside a house surrounded by greenery.
Out of the blue, she screamed after spotting a snake dangling right in front of her eyes.
It was a prank played by her team during a break, and the whole episode was captured in a video showing a member of Leone's team, Sunny Rajani, pulling off the trick.
Her initial horror turned to a healthy dose of fun and the 36-year-old actress posted it on Instagram.
The post started trending as her fans seemed to have taken the ruse with good humour.
But it was not the end of the story.
What happened next is even more hilarious.
In another social mediapost, the actress, who initially starred in adult films before appearing in the reality show Bigg Boss, is shown holding two chocolate cakes and whispering her plot in front of the camera.
The video shows her walking nonchallantly behind Rajani who seemed caught up in a discussion with other team mates on the set — and the actress smacked the sweet delights on the unsuspecting Rajani.
That triggered a chase as Rajani tried to get back at the actress. "That's what you get when you mess with me," she wrote on her post.
