A video of Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, has gone viral on social media, sparking concern among fans. In the emotional clip, the young actor appears teary-eyed and upset, opening up about feeling isolated in the film industry.

Babil names several celebrities in the video, including Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav, and even singer Arijit Singh. The context behind the video remains unclear, but his remarks have raised questions about his mental well-being.

“Bollywood is so, so rude,” he says in the clip, which was reportedly deleted from his Instagram shortly after being uploaded.

He continues, “It’s the fakest industry I’ve ever been a part of. But there are a few people who want Bollywood to be better. I have so much more to give you.”

Netizens voice concern

The video, which surfaced on Reddit, has triggered a wave of empathy and concern. One user commented, “God, this is really sad. He’s going through a lot.” Another added, “He is young and vulnerable in a very competitive space without a father. I hope he gets help and comes back stronger.”

No response from Babil yet

Babil has not publicly addressed the video, and it is no longer visible on his Instagram Stories. However, the raw and emotional outburst has reignited conversations around mental health and the emotional toll of navigating the entertainment industry.

Just a week ago, Babil paid tribute to his father on the fifth anniversary of Irrfan Khan’s passing. The acclaimed actor was diagnosed with neuroendocrine cancer in 2018 and died on April 29, 2020, at the age of 53 due to complications from a colon infection.
