What's your daily skincare routine like?
I like to keep it really simple. My morning skincare routine starts with a face wash, followed by a synergy like vitamin C or something similar, and then moisturizer. The most important step, which I’ve realised only recently, is sunblock. SPF is essential—I’ve truly seen a change in my skin since I started religiously applying it. My doctor even told me to use sunblock even if I’m just sitting at home, wherever there’s sunlight. I also adjust my routine based on where I’m shooting and the weather conditions.
What’s the best beauty advice you’ve ever received, and who gave it to you?
The best beauty advice I’ve received is to apply sunblock—it’s extremely important, and I’ve seen the difference it makes. Another important tip is to keep it simple and do what works for you. There’s so much information online, but you don’t have to follow every trend. Make mistakes, figure out what suits you, and don’t stress if your makeup isn’t perfect one day. Experimentation is key.
Do you do your own makeup?
I usually don’t do my own makeup, but yesterday I did! Honestly, I’m a little scared about it. While it’s not a life skill required as an actor because we have professionals on set, I’ve started enjoying it. Watching amazing makeup artists during my advertisement shoots was inspiring, and I’ve picked up tips from them. I used to be a tomboy, so makeup has been part of my transformation, and now it’s something I really enjoy.
What’s one make-up trend that you embraced in 2024 and intend to retain this year?
I don’t usually follow trends; I prefer a minimalistic makeup style. But one trend I loved was "blush blindness," which encouraged a lot of blush. I adore blush, and it was exciting to see more products come into the market because of that trend.
If you could choose just three makeup products to survive with for the rest of your life, what would they be?
A tinted moisturizer with SPF, blush, and lip balm.
