Dubai university launches sports management degree

Dubai: Canadian University Dubai has launched a degree in Sport Management.

The major can be completed in four years (eight semesters) and equips students with skills centred on accounting, finance, economics, management, operations and supply chain management as well as marketing and law pertaining to sports organisation.

The course will prepare students for careers in a range of fields, including; sports marketing, sales, advertising, sponsorships, administration and sport management, sport facilities management, sports events management, logistics/operations management, research, consulting and entrepreneurship, finance and accounting.
