Dubai: Flights to Europe from the UAE have been cancelled, delayed, and re-routed due to the snowstorm and freezing rain sweeping over Europe.

On Monday, Emirates flights EK29 and EK30 (Dubai-London Heathrow-Dubai) was re-routed to London Gatwick; flights EK71 and EK72 (Dubai-Paris-Dubai) were cancelled; while Flight EK46 (Frankfurt-Dubai) was delayed. Meanwhile, an Etihad flight EY01 (Abu Dhabi-Frankfurt) was diverted to Munich. It resulted in the delay of return flight EY02 (Frankfurt-Abu Dhabi).

And in Europe, Air France said in a statement that it expected to operate all its long-haul flights and over half of its short and medium-haul flights on Monday. All flights were expected to be operational on Tuesday.
