Blockchain summit to attract innovators, start-ups
Future Blockchain Summit, to be held next month, will host global investors as blockchain solution set to grow to $9.7m in 2021
Dubai: Next month will see Dubai hosting global innovators and transformative start-ups from across the globe at the Future Blockchain Summit from May 2-3. The summit will see local and international start-ups seeking to showcase their solutions and attract investments. Total spending on blockchain solutions is set to grow to $9.7 billion (Dh35.6 billion) in 2021. The two-day event at DWTC will bring together over 5,000 global block chain experts and technologists from around the world. Investments in the blockchain industry investments reached $3 billion at the end of 2017 and the event is expected to foster a strong community of local entrepreneurs.
Strategic partners for the event include Etisalat, Dubai Economy, Dubai Municipality, Microsoft, Oracle among others.
