Dubai: The 28th edition of the Gitex Shopper 2018 opened doors to tech-savvy shoppers on Tuesday.

The five-day event, which kicked off from October 2 at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), is showcasing the latest in consumer electronics and with bundle offers and promotions.


Since DWTC has merged the spring and autumn shopper into one, retailers are in buoyant mood.

The doors are opened from 11:00am, with exhibit and store hours open till 11:00pm at DWTC's Zabeel Halls No. 4-6.

Tickets are priced at Dh20 and entry is free for children below the age of five. Creating even more convenience for visitors, the organisers are offering free parking at DWTC to those who spend more than Dh300 at the show.

The event is providing an additional platform for retailers such as Jumbo,

Jacky’s, E-max and Sharaf DG to put their best foot forward  in a bid to showcase the latest in consumer electronics with bundle offers and promotions.
