Dubai: Plug-Ins, a member of the Al Futtaim group, is planning to open four more outlets this year as part of its expansion.

“Abu Dhabi is a big market for us, and we have Yas Mall outlet opening up in November,” Sean Connor, general manager of Plug Ins, told Gulf News.

“We are looking at other areas in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah. Our outlet at Bawadi Mall in Al Ain was opened last week,” he said.

The company currently operates 170,000 square feet of retail space and is looking to add another 120,000 square foot in the next two years.

“We are exploring opportunities to open five more outlets in next year. We are planning to consolidate our operations in the UAE first before going overseas. We have some plans to have joint ventures with other Al-Futtaim retail brands in Doha and Muscat.”
