DUBAI: Dubai developer Nakheel said on Tuesday it has awarded a Dh1.5 billion construction contract to Abu Dhabi-based Dhabi Contracting for its Al Khail Avenue project.
The retail, dining and entertainment development project will also now include a 252-room hotel, Nakheel said in a statement.
Construction will begin in early October and is to be finished in the first quarter of 2019. Earthworks finished in June, Nakheel said.
The site is located alongside Al Khail Road in Dubai near the Jumeirah Village Triangle community.
