Agility’s 2017 net profit jumps 16%

The company has proposed a cash dividend of 15 per cent

Agility said on Wednesday its 2017 net profit rose 16 per cent to Dh68 million due to an increase in operating profit.

The company proposed a cash dividend of 15 per cent for last year, it said in a statement posted on Dubai Financial Market’s website. The company didn’t disclose revenue figures in the statement.

Agility plans to invest Dh10-15 million in 2018 to grow its truck fleet by another 30 vehicles in addition to Dh125 million invested last year, the company told Gulf News on January 22.
