Euromoney Emirates conference underway in Sharjah

Sharjah: Experts discussed topics under the theme of innovation at the Euromoney Emirates Conference, which kicked off in Sharjah on Monday.

The two-day conference sees a strong lineup of speakers from across industry sectors.

Among those addressing delegates are Shaikh Khalid Bin Issam Al Qassimi, Chairman of the Department of Civil Aviation in Sharjah along with officials from Shurooq.

“The topics up for debate and the top level discussions which will be held are also completely relevant to Sharjah’s ongoing development,” said Marwan Bin Jassim Al Sarkal,  chief executive of Shurooq.

“We will be addressing innovative economies, the changing role of Free Zones, and the role of finance in research, technology, the environment, healthcare and logistics. We will explore the future of SMEs and entrepreneurship, the backbone of the Sharjah economy, and our place on the regional and global economic stage,” he added.
