The Hamriyah Free Zone-based Metal Care Centre FZC (MCC) has entered into a strategic cooperation agreement with NAMCO Industries Pvt Ltd, a leader in India’s steel plate manufacturing industry boasting an impressive capacity of 600k metric tons annually, to supply steel plates to the UAE.

The formal agreement was signed by Namit Soni, the Managing Director of Namco Industries Pvt Ltd, and the directors of Metal Care Center FZC, namely Shyam Kumar Sadashivan Pillai and Patrick Dsouza. This significant event took place in the presence of senior executives at the premises of MCC situated in the Hamriyah free zone.

"This collaboration marks the beginning of a new dynamic partnership," says MCC.

Metal Care Center FZC was established with the core intention of offering comprehensive solutions, serving as both a service center and a facilitator for trade financing concerning flat steel requirements. Since its inception in 2008 within the Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah, UAE, the company has emerged as a prominent importer, stockist, and distributor of flat steel products within the region.

Namco Industries possesses the capability to manufacture steel plates with thicknesses ranging from 10 to 150mm and widths spanning 850 to 2000mm. These plates adhere to diverse steel grades, conforming to both Indian and International Standards such as EN, DIN, BS, ASTM, JIS, among others. The company operates a robust 1.2 million tons per annum plate mill complex in the state of Maharashtra, India.
