Marriott International has introduced its highly acclaimed Voyage program at the Curtin Dubai campus in Dubai international Academic City, opening exciting opportunities for fresh graduates across multiple disciplines. The visit by the Marriott Group to Curtin Dubai's campus marks the beginning of a collaboration that aims to bridge the gap between academia and the hospitality industry, while fostering career growth and professional development for the next generation.

The program is a comprehensive recruitment initiative, and offers recent graduates the chance to embark on a transformative journey of training, development, and on-the-job experience within the Marriott Group of hotels in the UAE. Over the course of 12-18 months, participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various departments, honing their skills and preparing themselves for future potential supervisory roles within the renowned hotel chain; the world’s largest.

The Marriott Group has gone above and beyond and will be providing our students the opportunity to visit its hotels across the country. These tours will enable students to gain valuable insights into the operations of the hotel industry, observe best practices firsthand, and develop a deep understanding of the industry's inner workings. In addition, they have also committed to having their Engineers visit Curtin Dubai’s Engineering Pavilion to inspire the university’s budding engineers.”

“Such initiatives stand as testament to the commitment of the Marriott Group to nurturing talent and providing graduates with a launch pad for successful careers. This strategic partnership leverages the strengths of both institutions, blending academic excellence with world-leading industry expertise to create a holistic and immersive learning experience,” commented Professor Evans.

The collaboration between Curtin Dubai and the Marriott Group is an exemplary model of how industry and academia can work together to shape the future workforce and create invaluable learning opportunities. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, students will not only acquire essential skills but also gain exposure to the real-world challenges and opportunities that await them upon graduation.
