Organized Chaos Holding (OCH), in partnership with Graphene Innovations Manchester (GIM), has officially launched GIM GrapheneFibre® (Graphene Fiber Company Ltd) in Saudi Arabia. This pioneering initiative establishes the world’s first commercial production facility for graphene-enriched carbon fiber, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for innovation, sustainability, and industrial growth—key components of Vision 2030.

“We are thrilled that this groundbreaking development emerged from a close collaboration with OCH, advancing Saudi Arabia’s leadership in global technology,” said Dr Vivek Koncherry, Chairman & CEO of GIM GrapheneFibre. “Ahead of his visit to Saudi Arabia, UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer’s office praised this deal as a flagship initiative of the Saudi-UK Partnership.”

Headquartered in Manchester, GIM is at the forefront of revolutionizing the advanced materials sector by bringing graphene-enriched carbon fiber to the global stage. This innovation leverages graphene’s extraordinary properties to redefine the possibilities in carbon fiber technology.

“This marks a monumental step for Saudi Arabia’s advanced materials industry,” said Abdulrahman Assaker, Chairman of OCH. “Our commitment is to harness Saudi Arabia’s resources and talent to drive progress. This initiative aligns with Vision 2030 by fostering local expertise, unlocking sustainable applications for oil resources, and expanding high-tech industries.”

The project is expected to generate over 4,500 skilled jobs by 2030, contributing more than SAR 6 billion in revenue to the Kingdom’s economy.

“Our partnership with GIM combines global expertise with local capabilities,” added Abdulghani Alhindi, CEO of OCH. “By focusing on innovation, we are creating an environment that empowers entrepreneurs, strengthens the workforce, and invites state-of-the-art industries to localize advanced manufacturing in Saudi Arabia.”

The production launch is supported by an operational model centered on speed, flexibility, and resource efficiency. “We are employing the ‘CHON Concept,’ which integrates artificial intelligence, open innovation, rapid prototyping, and lean startup principles to drive product development and enhance performance,” explained Abdul Rahman Khalidi, COO of OCH.

“At OCH, our goal is to transform unconventional ideas into thriving business ventures,” said Areej Alturki, Chief Strategy Officer of OCH. “By investing in cutting-edge tools, nurturing talent, and fostering partnerships, we are laying the foundation for a future-ready ecosystem that ensures sustainable growth and continuous advancement in science and technology.
