BeingShe organisation will host their annual Excellence Awards on June 12 at Sofitel Hotel, Downtown Dubai under the patronage of Shaikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum. BeingShe Excellence Awards recognise and award female talent across eight major categories which include Commodities, Wellness, Business, Human Resources, Corporate, Hospitality, Media & Art as well as Health & Fitness.

While the awards ceremony is a closed event, there will be a public exhibition from 12pm onwards in the Hotel foyer on the same day themed ‘Voice of Art’. Passersby can feast their eyes on works of various artists and there is a lot in store from brands like Vanitis Beauty, Kai Aesthetic Clinic, Wellbeing Sanctuary, Flores Isler and Bluechip Investment LLC who are also part of the exhibition.

BeingShe Excellence Awards have in the past honoured influential women like Suad Alshamsi, the first UAE female aircraft engineer and have been described as a noble cause towards women empowerment.

This year’s judging panel will have Shaikha Al Mutawa, a Master Coach in Self Development & NLP, Maya AlHawary the first Emirati Arab Phd Scholar in EQ and Leadership, Kausar Suleman, the Owner of Ksenses World General Trading LLC and Caroline Trichet the General Manager of Sofitel Dubai Downtown.

Women are invited to nominate themselves under the said categories for a chance to be considered for an award of excellence. Registrations can be done via the company’s website page with the last day being the May 31, 2022. As the norm, winners will be announced during the gala night with over 200 guests in attendance and the show will be hosted by radio presenter Maz Hakim.

Aparna Bajpai, the founding CEO of BeingShe, said the organisation will help the 2022 winners elevate their personal brands. “Through our media partners, winners will get radio interviews, newspaper features, professional portraits and red carpet interviews. We are not stopping with just the award ceremony,” she said.

During the same event, guests will witness the official launch of the Flores Isler perfume which is sold for a cause to help abused women and children. There will also be a fashion walk to display exquisite designs from Lebanese fashion designer Walid Atallah.
