The new range allows customers to reap the nutritional and taste benefits of dairy – without the discomfort associated with lactose intolerance. This marks the latest step in the company’s ongoing mission to be the UAE’s food and beverage brand of choice.
Al Ain Farms’ Lacto Free Dairy range includes four products:
• Full Fat Fresh Milk 1L
• Full Fat Long life Milk 1L
• Full Fat Fresh Yoghurt 400gr
• Full-Fat Laban 400gr
The range is specially formulated to offer the same great taste, texture, and experience consumers have come to expect from Al Ain Farms Dairy products – just without the lactose. It will be available in all major supermarkets and grocery retailers from October 2022.
Growing demand for lactose free products in the UAE
According to a survey of over 1,000 UAE residents commissioned by Al Ain Farms, negative symptoms associated with dairy consumption are a concern for consumers.
• Stomach rumbling is experienced by 25% of respondents
• A bloated stomach is experienced by 23% of respondents
• Stomach cramps and pains are experienced by 22% of respondents
These symptoms resulted in significant dietary and lifestyle restrictions.
• 40% of people affected by these symptoms said they have had to sacrifice foods they enjoy
• 39% said that their side effects impact their ability to enjoy meals with friends and family
