Bahrain, TRA discuss preparation of strategic plan of ICT in GCC

Dubai: A delegation from the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the Kingdom of Bahrain on Sunday visited the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) offices in Dubai to hold a series of meetings on the preparation mechanisms of a comprehensive strategic plan for the ICT (Information and Communications Technologies) sector at GCC level. The visit is in line with the decisions of the most recent meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee in Riyadh last month, during which the Kingdom of Bahrain was assigned the task of the plan preparation. The delegation will hold meetings with the TRA Management, and visit several departments.
