Automobili Lamborghini has given a father-son duo from Colorado, USA the greatest Christmas gift they could have asked for! As part of the Sant’Agata Bolognese company’s tradition of setting out to find real Lamborghini lovers, they chose Sterling Backus and his 12-year-old son Xander, who have been building a real-size Aventador SV replica in their garage in Erie, Colorado, USA, using a 3D printer for the past two years.

This video released by Lamborghini shows the father and son open the garage door and find a real, black Aventador S instead of their replica model. Having proven their love for Lamborghini with their project, they get to drive the car for some days and enjoy the real Lamborghini experience in the Christmas season.

“Automobili Lamborghini is against any attempt at counterfeiting. However, a true story of such authentic passion deserves to be featured, which is why we chose to tell of Sterling’s and Xander’s project in our 2019 Christmas video,” comments Katia Bassi, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer of Automobili Lamborghini.
