Infiniti QX60 Monograph previews brand’s next SUV

Infiniti has revealed the QX60 Monograph, a design study that gives us a peek into how the next generation QX60 SUV will look.

The three-row concept SUV previews the new direction that Infiniti designers are following for the nameplate’s next iteration which is expected to come out as a production model in 2021.

The design prototype has a wide stance, large greenhouse, a crisp, horizontal shoulder line and muscular wheel arches, giving it a much cleaner, more sophisticated, and bolder appearance than the model it would replace.

“The QX60 is a very important vehicle to INFINITI — one of the first truly global products our brand, and we have sold more than 400,000 units worldwide since its introduction. Today, we give you a sneak peek into the direction our designers are taking the future QX60,” said Peyman Kargar, chairman, Iinfiniti Motor Company.

“We raised the visual center of gravity, giving it a strong, straight shoulder line that carries through to the hood, with a higher, more prominent grille, and longer-looking cabin to deliver a sense of muscularity and a commanding presence,” said Alfonso Albaisa, senior vice president, Global Design, Nissan Motor Co. Ltd.

The QX60 Monograph will be available for the public to view at Infiniti’s global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan and at the brand’s stand at the 2020 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition this weekend.
