The styling of the Urus might be polarizing, but it has still been a massive hit for Lamborghini. In fact, the high performance SUV helped set a sales record for the Italian carmaker last year while the Toyota RAV4 is one of the world’s best-selling SUVs – but it isn’t nearly as eye-catching… That’s where Japanese tuning company Albermo comes in with their audacious body kit that transforms the RAV4 into a Urus lookalike!

They do say that imitation is the ultimate form of flattery, but we wonder what Lamborghini would have to say about this… But if you wished your RAV4 looked a bit more aggressive then Albermo has the perfect solution.

Its body kit will sure make your Toyota stand out from the crowd. Dubbed the XR51, as you can see, it clearly takes inspiration from the Urus and gives the RAV4 a meaner appearance.

The front bumper costs $1,294 and has a very similar shape to that of the Urus super-SUV. A gloss black cover has also been designed to shroud the Toyota Safety Sense system while also mimicking the look of the large radar unit found at the centre of the Urus’ grille.

Subtle LED daytime running lights have also been fitted in the lower portion of the bumper and the tuner has even gone to the trouble of fitting parking sensors.

It also has a set of four extended side skirts available for $150. The rear of the bodykit benefits from an available roof-mounted spoiler and a revised apron and costs $732.

The kit is pretty affordable and it makes a huge impact on the overall look of the RAV4. It is just an exterior dress-up option and Albermo doesn’t include any performance increasing measures so if you think your RAV4 will be as fast as the Urus, think again…
