This week’s theme to coincide with Valentine’s Day is, ‘Love is in the air’.

We are highlighting pets who are so in love that they are inseparable or ‘singles’ who have so much love to give that they are just waiting for their perfect owner.

Warad & Jameela - Animal Action

These two love birds are still looking for their forever home/homes. Warad (male) and Jameela (female) are both beautiful Salukis with beautiful temperaments. Both of them are couch potatoes and enjoy being in the company of other dogs. They spend most of their day napping on their beds or on the couch but also enjoy spending time outside in the garden when it’s not too hot, so their new home(s) must have a garden. They are a perfect match for each other. For more information about Warad and Jameela, please click here or contact Animal Action on animal.action@hotmail.com

Gabriel & Florence - Animal Action

These two gorgeous Salukis are our latest rescues. Florence is the brown one. They have had their visit to the vet, are now vaccinated, microchipped and sterilised. For more information about Gabriel & Florence, please click here or contact Animal Action on animal.action@hotmail.com

Fitz & Crusoe - Animal Action

Trixie & Toto - Sharjah Cats & Dogs Shelter (SCADS)

These two beautiful terrier crosses are completely different in personality but are inseparable! The male is a very confident and playful boy whereas the female is more shy and prefers to stay close to her masters and give them love. Trixie is the honey coloured dog, Toto is the white male. Hayley & Norman - Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Centre (RAK AWC)

Hayley & Norman are brother and sister. Hayley is a jump champion; this girl is a real acrobat and a constant source of entertainment. Like any kitten at her age she loves to play and does not really care who her play mate is, another kitten or a human. This joyful kitten will be a great addition to any family! For more information about Hayley, please click here or contact RAK AWC on 050 4873922 or info@rakawc.com

Norman is a cheeky little boy that loves to play and act as a silly little kitten that he is. His list of entertainments include, but not limited to, chasing shoelaces of his visitors, swinging on the door of his cat cage and attacking tails of his siblings. This little boy will be a wonderful addition to a family looking to adopt a playful and fun kitten. Bongo - Ras Al Khaimah Animal Welfare Centre (RAK AWC)

Danny & Mona - Sandy Paws

Larger than he should be, Danny is only nine months old and a big boy. The problem is he eats all the girls’ food - he’s in a room of other foster cats who are all female. He is friendly and affectionate and needs to go to a new home with his friend Mona who is scared of people and needs a family who will allow her time to get used to people. For more information about Danny & Mona, please click here or contact Sandy Paws on covill@eim.ae

Rory & Carly - Sandy Paws

Aurelia & Brandy - Wags and Purrs

Aurelia and Brandy are a mom and kitten who look adorable together and would make any household a happier home. Aurelia is nine months old, vaccinated and spayed. Brandy is 10 weeks old and is due for her vaccines next week. Brandy is a bundle of energy and joy while mom is loving and caring. It would be a shame to break up this pair and who would say no Brandy? She loves her mommy and it would be perfect if she can stay by her side for the rest of their lives. For more information about Aurelia & Brandy, please click here or contact Wags and Purrs on wags-and-purrs@hotmail.com

Anona & Vena - K9 Friends

Anona and Vena may both be girls but they do love each other a lot. Vena goes to sleep most nights nibbling Anona’s ears, which explains why her ears are a little frayed round the edges. These are seven-month-old female Sarloos wolf hounds. For more information about Anona & Vena, please click here or contact K9 Friends on 04 8878739 or education@k9friends.com

Fenton & Fang - Senior Dog’s Project Dubai (DSDP)

Our rescue puppy Fenton, a four-month-old male, and kitten Fang, five-month-old female, absolutely love each other and are joined at the hip whenever they are together. True lovebirds! For more information about Fenton & Fang, please click here or contact DSDP on seniordogproject_dxb@yahoo.com

Aswad & Ramadi - K9 Friends

Two boys this time. We think they are father and son. Aswad is older and Ramadi is the pup. Strange for two males to be quite so devoted but they are. As Ramadi is only eight months old, he does need some training but both boys are very friendly and below knee height so would be a good pair to go as a team. Sometimes people will do anything to get a dog into K9 and through no fault of his or her own. Aswad ended up at our door. Lively, confident, little chap covered in battle scars. For more information about Aswad & Ramadi, please click here or contact K9 Friends on 04 8878739 or education@k9friends.com
