Dubai The world’s first ever portable, amber stone mosque will be launched at a gala exhibition at the Burj Al Arab in Dubai on April 27.

The breathtaking portable mosque is a creation of the Amber Palm Group, known for its extensive amber product range.

Without divulging too much information about the high profile launch, organisers spoke about the mystic appeal of the amber stone over the ages from the ancient pharaohs to today’s archeologists, pointing out how the precious gem continues to captivate people.

Ambitious

They said the mosque is an ambitious project that will make history both for the amber stone and the UAE when it is launched on Thursday.

Amber Palm claims it deals with 100 per cent natural amber which is free from impurities and sourced through “sustainable methods”. The rich look and feel of amber’s natural shades is believed to combine the energy of the moon and the sun and thus carry several healing properties.

Amber Palm, which has a manufacturing base in the UAE, was the first company to use amber for a variety of interior décor applications like private jets, bespoke yachts, cars and luxury homes, the organisers said.
