Atif Malik, spokesperson for Artaaj events, the company behind Big Boys Toys, said cutting edge lifestyle and technology products worth $100 million will be showcased at the event. “Over 200 local, regional and international exhibitors from 17 countries have confirmed their attendance at the show,” said Malik.

Abu Dhabi-based Le Vault, which curates limited edition objects for discerning high-end collectors, will exhibit its signature UFO lounge rocking chair, a carbon fibre product with a handmade leather seat inspired by space capsules that withstand extreme temperatures on re-entry to the earth’s atmosphere. The Schiller S1-C – a bold new product that allows riders to cycle on water – will debut at Big Boys Toys 2015.

Designed for use on both fresh water lakes and coastal seas, the S1-C uses inflatable pontoons and a revolutionary propulsion system to provide sustained speeds of seven-to-eight km per hour and top speeds in excess of 11km per hour.

Japanese firm Valorado will showcase the River’s Tone, a $9 million, luxury sound system made using 60 kg of gold and diamonds. Designed and built using technologies invented by former Sony visionary Michio Sakamoto, the system is one of its type in the world.

This year’s event will feature a number of customised motorcycles including a unique Harley Davidson V-Rod with the largest front (260mm) and rear (360mm) tyres ever installed.

Built in Abu Dhabi by 86 Cycles, the motorcycle will go on sale at Big Boys Toys 2015 for Dh500,000. Big Boys Toys’ list of motoring mean machines already includes a $1.5 million, two-seat, mid-engine de Macross Epique GT1 supercar, a $350,000 Bienville Legacy motorcycle and a $250,000 custom-made Gold Digger motorcycle by L.J Miller, amongst other attractions.
