How is GITEX Shopper different this year?
We are planning the Middle East’s biggest ever prize extravaganza with more than Dh3 million worth of prizes up for grabs during the eight days of the event. For the first time ever, visitors will have the opportunity to win half a kilogram of gold every day for every Dh500 they spend. Visitors have to upload their invoices on an app called ‘Sweet’ – in order to participate in the daily raffle.
To add more thrill, people spending Dh2,500 or more have a chance to win shopping vouchers worth Dh15,000 and Dh45,000 worth travel packages.
How many exhibitors are you expecting this year?

Last year we welcomed 211,398 visitors. This year we’re expecting a bumper show.
