What has been the past year like for Yas Mall?

In one year, Yas Mall has redefined the shopping landscape of the UAE. We introduced scores of hundreds of local and international brands and just recently we opened TRYANO, our exclusive high-end concept anchor store and Abu Dhabi’s first Apple store (one of only two in the UAE).

What is the mall’s USP?

Yas Mall brings an unmatched lifestyle experience to visitors beginning with its unique architecture that brings the outdoors indoors. We have one of the largest Debenhams stores in the world; the largest Zara, Nike and Adidas in the region, the world’s first UEFA Champions League Experience and the capital’s largest VOX Cinemas with 4Dx. The mall also offers a multitude of dining options from some of the world’s most popular restaurants.

The mall is located at a distance from the city centre. Is that a concern?

Not really. We are a 15-minute drive from Downtown Abu Dhabi and about 45 from Dubai.

What is your current footfall and what are kind of numbers you are looking for in 2016.

Yas Mall sees a range of customers, including local communities, expat residents and tourists. As Yas Mall is located in the heart of Yas Island, which is an international tourist destination, we welcome a diverse mix of tourists from the GCC

Any plans for the New Year?

We have lined up a series of exciting performances for visitors. We willl also do a live broadcast of New Year celebrations from around the world.
