An ordinary flight just turned extraordinary for some passengers and crew aboard Emirates last Friday.

At least 75 members of a men's choir delighted some travellers when they broke into a musical performance just after the aircraft landed.

The student group, identified as the Baylor University Men’s Choir from Texas, simultaneously sang "Da Coconut Nut" by Filipino musician, composer and conductor Ryan Cayabyab, as passengers were just preparing to disembark.

The performance last Friday, July 21, was complete with dance moves and choreography.

“It was a spontaneous performance for the crew,” an airline spokesperson was quoted as saying.

A video of the “great onboard performance” has been shared recently by Emirates on social media.  “When you go coconuts on a plane,” the carrier tweeted.

The choir members went on a mission trip in Kenya and were travelling back to the United States.
