Al Ain: Two 18-year-old Emiratis were killed in a car crash in the Al Salamat region of Al Ain on Thursday.
Colonel Ahmad Mohammad Al Zuwaidi, Director of Al Ain Traffic Department of Abu Dhabi Police, said the operations room received reports that a 4x4 vehicle overturned.
Immediately the police’s rescue team were dispatched to the scene, Colonel Al Zuwaidi said.
He said the crash occurred due to excessive speed and loss of control of the vehicle, which led to sudden deviation and overturning of the vehicle.
Colonel Al Zuwaidi urged motorists to abide by traffic rules and speed limits on the road for their own safety.
