Abu Dhabi: The second season of Sounds of Arabia, a music festival organised by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH), is set to begin its series of 'Last Thursday of Each Month' concert, with Lebanese Tarab diva Majida El Roumi headlining this year's festival.
"I am very happy to be here. I always feel so welcome when I am in the UAE, which is why I love coming back to perform [here]. The people are very hospitable, the country is very beautiful…I hope that it will always remain as prosperous and peaceful as it is now, inshallah," Majida said. "I can't wait to perform for my fans here, it is an Arab country after all…and I always make sure that I sing from my heart," she added.
Majida El Roumi will be performing on Tuesday, November 24, and Thursday, November 26, at the Emirates Palace Hotel.
