Sharjah police find parents of 2 lost girls

Sharjah: Police have found the parents of two girls wandering alone in two separate places in Sharjah on Wednesday evening, according to Sharjah Police.

Police found the parents without hours of posting the girls' photographs on social media.

Buhairah police and Wasit Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police were sent to the scene after members of the public spotted the girls wandering about on roads and appearing to be in a state of panic.

The first girl, who was about the age of two and wearing a light-pink long sleeved dress, was found in Al Buhairah area; the second girl, aged about four who wore a pink top, was found in Al Murqab area.

Sharjah Police thanked community members for their cooperation.

They also appealed parents to keep their eyes on their young children and never leave them alone even for a while.
