Shaikh Hamad received CEOs of Enoc Group, Royal Vopak

Fujairah: His Highness Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, yesterday received Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO of Enoc Group, and Eelco Hoekstra, CEO of Royal Vopak, at his palace.

Shaikh Hamad praised the significant progress made in the oil sector in the UAE and the pivotal role played by the national oil companies to support the economy and future projects.

The UAE under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has laid the foundations of work rules and regulations that strengthened the UAE’s status as a key hub for local and international companies operating in energy field, Shaikh Hamad said.

The meeting touched on oil projects being implemented in Fujairah and possible ways to increase the oil storage capacity so as to meet the needs of the international markets.
