Paris: Yesterday evening, like every other day, I walked out of college after completing my project and took Rue de Charonne for a quick bite at a cafe around 8:00 pm. Later I took Boulevard Voltaire to walk back to the station and catch my train back home (50 minutes journey).

As soon as I reached home my phone started ringing constantly with messages and calls from my relatives asking if I was fine, but I did not know why.

When I got home and saw the news I couldn’t believe it, I was just there and I had mixed feelings, complete sadness for what had happened and shock.

We were immediately advised not to leave home, stay put and strong. There was a wave going on in Paris where the people were offering shelter to others who didn’t have the means to go home by posting on twitter.

Also, I would be going to donate blood tomorrow for those in need.
