Israel's foreign minister to visit the US
Israel's Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and chief peace negotiator with the Palestinians, will on Thursday visit Washington and brief US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on the talks.
Occuppied Jerusalem: Israel's Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and chief peace negotiator with the Palestinians, will on Thursday visit Washington and brief US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on the talks.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel said Livni would be attending the funeral of Republican Tom Lantos, who died on Monday. Lantos was the only survivor of the Holocaust elected to the US Congress. Livni is also set to meet with Rice and brief her on the state of the negotiations, led on the Palestinian side by former prime minister Ahm
