Philadelphia: Senator Hillary Clinton likened herself to Rocky Balboa on Tuesday saying she wasn't a quitter despite recent calls for her to step down from the Democratic presidential nomination race.
Recalling a famous scene on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Clinton said to end her presidential campaign now would be as if "Rocky Balboa had gotten halfway up those art museum steps and said, 'Well, I guess that's about far enough.''
The comments come after the influential Senator Patrick Leahy, who chairs the Judiciary Committee and is a supporter of Barack Obama, said Clinton should step aside in the race. Obama has dismissed the idea.
Clinton is trailing in the number of delegates needed to obtain party nomination.
