Nine British soldiers arrested after brawl in Cyprus
Nine British soldiers have been arrested after a pub fight in a holiday resort in Cyprus's Island, said the Ministry of Defence on Sunday.
London: Nine British soldiers have been arrested after a pub fight in a holiday resort in Cyprus's Island, said the Ministry of Defence on Sunday.
The nine were accused with a number of public order offences, said a spokesman.
"We can confirm there was an incident on Friday Night in the Cypriot town of Ayia Napa involving a number of British Forces,'' said the MoD in a statement.
MoD also added: “Inquires into the incident are continuing. The Military Police continue to work closely with the local police as part of this ongoing investigation,''
