London: Britain's foreign secretary says Iran is preparing to release the eighth of nine British Embassy employees it arrested last week.
David Miliband says Iran's deputy foreign minister has said one of the two people still in custody will be freed without charge on Sunday.
Iranian officials detained the embassy staff last week, accusing them of fomenting unrest. All are Iranian nationals and most have been released.
But a lawyer for one man, political analyst Hossein Rassam, says he has been charged with harming Iran's national security.
Miliband told the BBC that that he felt "cold anger" about the detentions and said claims against the staff had "absolutely no substance."
He said "all of our efforts" are being directed toward freeing the remaining employee.
