Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent two condolence cables to Queen Elizabeth II and David Cameron, British Prime Minister, on the death of former British Prime Minister Baroness Margaret Thatcher.
Shaikh Khalifa expressed his profound sorrow on the death of Baroness Thatcher. The UAE President recalled her role and great efforts in promoting and strengthening the distinguished relations between the two friendly countries.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, also sent similar cables to Queen Elizabeth II and David Cameron.
