Manila: A man enraged over his gay lover's alleged infidelity cut off the latter's organ before vainly trying to flush it down the toilet.
Reports quoted police as saying that Jose Feliciano Valderama, 35, and his 21-year-old lover, Marvic Manquera, checked in at a motel in Novaliches, Quezon City, at dawn yesterday.
Alerted by a commotion in the pair's room, motel staff rushed in to see Valderama holding a bloodied knife and Manquera bleeding profusely.
Police said Manquera was drunk and fast asleep when he was attacked. "The suspect tried to commit suicide, but he was stopped by the complainant."
Motel personnel rushed Manquera to hospital where doctors were trying to reattach his organ.
Reports said that both Manquera and Valderama worked at the same mall in Quezon City.
