Dubai: A three-year-old girl who woke up at her own funeral has died, according to reports.
The child, from Zamboanga del Sur in southern Philippines, was declared clinically dead on Friday after a fever.
But during a funeral service in a church in Aurora, Zamboanga del Sur on Saturday, the girl began moving her head. Her father immediately grabbed his daughter from the coffin and gave her a cuddle.
However, the child has now been pronounced dead again, according to the Philippine Star.
A video taken on a camera phone at the funeral, shown above, became an internet hit after it was uploaded to YouTube.
But there is no happy ending to the story for the family of the girl. Dr Mary Silyne Asor-Cabahug, the Municipal Health Officer of Aurora, used a heart monitor on the girl on Tuesday and found no signs of life before confirming the child's death.
